As part of the ministry of the Church Health Center in Memphis, Tennessee, HopeandHealing.org produces innovative resources on health and healing for lay leaders and clergy. We bring you:
- interviews with leaders and thinkers
- tips and advice on running effective ministries
- faithful reflections on living with disease
- reviews of relevant resources
- recipes for larger groups, such as soup kitchens and church suppers
- tested curricula such as our own Walk & Talk
Our mission is simple: to make you and your church healthier in body and spirit. It begins with each of us making healthier decisions for ourselves and our churches. HopeandHealing.org is here to help you do just that.
This site is supported entirely by the generosity of our donors.
Mission of the Church Health Center
The Church Health Center seeks to reclaim the Church's biblical commitment to care for all bodies and spirits. Our ministries provide healthcare for the poor and promote healthy bodies and spirits for all.
Staff
Along with our two full-time staff positions, HopeandHealing.org works closely with members of Faith Community Outreach, Wellness, and other areas at the Church Health Center. We also have interns working with us at most times.

Submissions
We seek submissions on topics relevant to HopeandHealing.org. Please contact one of the editors above if you have writing that you would like to discuss or submit.
Internship Program
Interns will participate in the operations of HopeandHealing.org. Interns will gain experience through hands-on activities and directed projects. Interns must have an interest in the Internet and in the role faith plays in our daily lives. Interns must commit to one full semester (spring, summer or fall) consisting of serving 10 hours per week in the HopeandHealing.org office. Each intern is provided with on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.
Editorial Intern. Responsibilities will include editing content for web using a content management system, writing book reviews, developing video features, developing web features and participating in our review process. Through this internship, the intern should be able to decide if he or she wants to pursue a career in web editing.
Marketing Intern. Responsibilities include developing marketing and promotion concepts and pieces, creating e-newsletters and direct mails to target audiences, selecting HopeandHealing.org content appropriate for target audiences, and monitoring website statistics. Through this internship, the intern should be able to decide if he or she wants to pursue a career in web-marketing and promotion
