Godwin's parents knew their baby boy needed medical care when they saw the gaping hole between his lip and nose. Babies like Godwin who are born with cleft lip often starve because they can't nurse. Too many of these children die.

Godwin's parents didn't know where to take their son for help. And worse, they couldn't afford to pay for the surgery that could save his life. Godwin's parents are farmers, and no matter how hard they worked, they just couldn't earn enough.

Then someone like you stepped in and gave Godwin the life-saving, medical care he needed. Someone like you made sure Godwin could live a healthier, happier, longer life.

So many girls and boys are suffering from cleft conditions, preventable blindness, clubfoot and other disabilities. They live in extreme poverty. Their only hope for healing... is you.

What is the Restricted Gifts policy?

Hope and Healing International is a Christian, international development organization that has been bringing hope and healing to children and families trapped in poverty with disability for more than 110 years. Hope and Healing is committed to the safeguarding of children and other vulnerable persons, working to protect them from harm and neglect. As careful stewards of our resources, we plan to spend $3.9 million in fiscal year 2022/2023 to raise $28.7 million to help children and families caught in the cycle of poverty and disability. Please note that if more funds are received for a particular program, project or item than required, Hope and Healing International reserves the right to use the surplus funds in a Board-approved program or project, or for a similar item.
