In Eswatini, we know that early intervention can change a child’s life. That’s why we’ve partnered with an organization that doesn’t wait for people to come to us. Instead, we go out into rural communities through mobile hospital outreach.

Mobile Hospitals and Miracles

At these mobile hospitals, our partners provide more than 28 services and can treat up to 1,000 people per day. The staff is made up of 200 people and most of them are dedicated national workers, intent on serving those in need of medical care throughout Eswatini.

Through our partner, over 600 rural communities have been served and 1.5 million medical services provided. A lot of the cases we see are advanced, and people who come have been told there’s no hope for their medical condition. What a joy it is to work closely with children and their family and see these once “hopeless” cases turn into miracles through medical care!

EswatiniMedical Care and Support

Our partners are intent on disability assessment, treatment, education, eye testing as well as wound care. They also have a surgical unit for more complex cases, which allows them to provide more long-term care when needed. Other children receive wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, eyeglasses, etc. to support them in their journey to hope and healing.

The journey may seem long, but when a child experiences healing, it is always worth it.
