On the very first Easter, Jesus died and rose again for Lucky. (And for you and me!) Before Lucky was born, God loved him and knew him, and God had plans for his life. Plans for good, to give him a future and a hope.
Lucky’s mom, Emilly, has believed that from the moment her son was born. Even though she was worried when she saw his twisted hands and arms, she knew God had a purpose for Lucky’s life.
– Emilly, Lucky’s mom
Emilly and her husband named their baby boy, Lucky, which means to them “good things happening.” And they never lost faith that God would provide for their son.
They are farm labourers and when there isn’t work, the family often goes hungry. But Emilly hasn’t given up on Lucky and has been working since he was born to get him the medical treatment he needs.
“I truly believe there is a God in heaven, that even with everything I am going through, God will help Lucky and I.” – Emilly, Lucky’s mom
And God showed His love through a healinghugs supporter like you!
Thanks to a healing hug, Lucky has received a bear to hug and surgery on his right arm. When it heals, he will go back to the hospital for surgery on his left arm.
