Go on a nature walk

At the first sign of sun and warmer weather, take a walk through a forest or trail. As you enjoy the scenery, take turns pointing out what you see and thank God for it.

2. Plan a picnic

Plan a picnic
Enjoy a meal or snack in the park or your backyard! Pack a basket of goodies, sprawl on a blanket and enjoy dining al fresco together.

3. Make a bird feeder

Make a bird feeder

Invite the birds to your yard with a homemade pine cone bird feeder! To make your own feeder, tie a string to the top of an open pine cone (gather these up on your next nature walk!), then carefully spread an even layer of nut butter onto each pine cone scale. Once slathered in nut butter, dip and roll the pine cone into a bowl of birdseed, until it’s completely covered. Hang your bird feeder outside your window and enjoy the bird sights and sounds!

4. Paint rocks

Paint rocks
Go on a hunt for rocks of all shapes and sizes, bringing them inside to paint. Wash, scrub and dry your rocks before decorating them with whatever paints and supplies you already have around the house.

6. Draw with sidewalk chalk

Draw with side walk chalk
Channel your inner Picasso with some colourful chalk – the pavement is your canvas! Sprawl out on the sidewalk or driveway with a big bucket of chalk and see what your imaginations will create!
