When we have an intimate relationship with our heavenly Father, He impacts a desire to do more. This year, be part of a miracle for children and families suffering from disabilities and living in poverty.
Join us in praying for those who may otherwise be forgotten by requesting a 2022 Hope and Healing Prayer Diary. Within its pages are prayer requests from around the world, stories of hope and healing and space for your personal prayers.
By engaging your heart in sincere prayer for others, you will open the doors for miracles, in your life and the lives of children.
YOUR PRAYERS BRING KIDS HOPE AND HEALING IN JESUS’ NAME
This is Tamia
Tamia is just a child who needs God's healing and your prayers. She was born with clubfeet. When she came to Hope and Healing's partner hospital for treatment, we were concerned she'd need additional medical help for her clubfeet, cleft palate, a build up of fluid in her brain and possibly a neural tube defect or spina bifida. Knowing your child has just one of these conditions is terrifying enough for a parent! Tamia's mom would have to put her trust in God and our doctors.
Thankfully, we could alleviate this mom's fear and assure her that her baby would get the proper treatment. But that's only half of it. Your prayers lift up these brave kids so they experience the mighty working hands of God while they undergo treatment.
This is Samson
When Samson was two years old, he stepped into a hole and broke his ankle. He needed medical care, but his family couldn't get him to the hospital and had no money to pay for treatment. Within three days, Samson's leg began to rot. By the time his family and heard about Hope about Healing's partner hospital, Samson's leg was beyond saving.
Thanks to the prayers, support and love of Canadians like you, Samson received surgery and a prosthetic leg. Now, Samson attends school and plays football with his friends. This bright boy loves helping others and showing new friends how fast he can run. Thank you for changing Samson's life.
This is Lorna
Lorna's foot began to twist inward when she was only two years old. Doctors at the general hospital tried to correct Lorna's foot with insoles and special shoes, but nothing worked. Pain throbbed through Lorna's foot with each step - her clubfoot was getting worse. Then, some neighbours told Lorna's mom about Hope and Healing's partner hospital. The news revived their hope.
Lorna received the medical care she needed. Her surgery was a success and with the casts and physiotherapy, she'll be able to walk pain-free! Your prayers give kids like Lorna the strength and hope they need to get through a difficult time.
